Built with purpose
Shree AI didn’t start as a product — it started as a mission. In 2023, Shreekrishna Thapa, an IT professional working across Nepal and the UAE, kept asking one question: why should good AI help be locked behind paywalls and English-only screens, only for people who can afford it?
Students in rural Nepal, teachers in underserved communities and first-time internet users deserve the same tools as anyone else. After two years of research and building — alone, after work hours and on weekends — Shree AI went live in 2025 with a free plan from day one.

About Shreekrishna Thapa
Shreekrishna Thapa is an IT professional and developer from Itahari, Nepal, working across Nepal and the UAE. His work covers IT infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity for organisations in several countries, and building software products for businesses and communities through Digital Lakhey Tech.
He designed, built and runs Shree AI end to end — the product, the security and the infrastructure — with one rule: it must be useful for someone on a basic phone, in their own language.
